How the Summer Math Boot Camps Work

  • 6‑week live online program

  • 2 sessions per week:

    • One live lesson (I do / We do / You do / exit ticket)

    • One study hall/office hours session for homework help and extra practice

  • Small‑group format so every student can ask questions and get feedback

  • Homework between lessons to keep skills fresh and build confidence

  • Each course includes 12 live hours of instruction and support (6 weeks × 2 one‑hour sessions per week).

Fractions (SUM I)

Rising 4th–6th graders who feel unsure about fractions will build confidence through a step-by-step refresher covering equivalent fractions, simplifying, comparing/ordering on number lines, adding/subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and multi-step word problems — so your child stops memorizing tricks and actually understands what fractions mean.

Rational Numbers (SUM I)

  • 12 Lessons

Rising 6th–8th graders who get confused when switching between fraction/decimal/percent forms or dealing with negatives will connect all rational numbers on the number line over 6 weeks, covering fractions as rational numbers, decimals and conversions, percents in real-life situations, integers and operations, mixed operations across forms, and real-world multi-step word problems.

Rising 7th–9th graders who need a stronger foundation before Algebra will learn clear, repeatable steps for variables, coefficients, combining like terms, distributive property, simplifying expressions, one-step equations, two-step equations, two-step inequalities with graphing, and translating word problems into equations/inequalities — so they stop guessing and start using a process.

$250 per course, per session

  • 3 courses: Fractions - Rational Numbers - Pre-Algebra

  • 2 sessions: Session I (Tue/Thu) or Session II (Mon/Wed)

  • Full 6-week boot camp = 12 live hours on Zoom

  • Drop-in single session: $25 (if space allows)

What if my child misses a section? Will there be replays?

If your child misses a live session, they can attend the office hours/study hall session for extra help. Sessions are not recorded to keep students comfortable turning cameras on and participating.

How do I pay?

You can use your student's Step Up for Students funds (ESA), pay via Zelle, or use a credit card. After you join the waitlist, we'll contact you with payment instructions.

What are the tech requirements?

  • Zoom account (free)

  • Computer/laptop with internet

  • Quiet space to work

  • Headphones (recommended)

  • Camera (highly encouraged)
